Howdy everyone!

Have you seen the great media coverage the Gathering has received in the last few years? From a cover article in Texas Co-op Power to a recent article in Texas Parks & Wildlife, journalists who have attended the Gathering describe the uniqueness of the experience. The September 2021 Texas Highways article by songster Andy Hedges provides historical context for our event, and an excellent introduction to cowboy poetry.

Fostering this art form is our mission. To do this, we work all year to seek out new voices who will add their perspectives to an upcoming Gathering, and match them in 7 paid shows and 39 free sessions to performers we invite back from previous years. This takes money.

If you haven't donated to our Performers Fund, won't you consider it? Several large donors will double-match your gift, so any amount you give is tripled!

If you have already donated to our Performers Fund, thank you! This special matching fund helps us pay performers fairly and build financial stability.

If you are a member or sponsor, thank you! Members provide a base for our work throughout the year, and sponsors help fund the February Gathering and its events.
