Howdy friends!
We are excited to announce our lineup of performers for the next Lone Star Cowboy Poetry Gathering, scheduled for Feb. 18-20, 2027 in Alpine, Texas.
What's new this year:
- Thursday night cowboy dance at the Alpine Civic Center
- Screening of Cowboy Meditations (documentary film), followed by Q&A with director Gary Milliken and featured poet Dick Gibford
The full schedule will be out soon. Tickets go on sale to members September 20, and to the public on November 1.
Make lodging reservations now! Remember to check Airbnb and Vrbo listings, as well as hotels. Rooms are tight, and we don't want you to miss a great Gathering.
All the best,
