Fall Photo Contest: Youth on the Ranch

Calling all western photographers to enter our fall photo contest. The winning photo will be featured on social media posts promoting the Youth Cowboy Poetry Contest as well as the contest poster.

Contest Rules:

• All photos must feature children or youth riding/working in a ranch or rodeo setting.
• The photographer must have the consent of parents/guardians of the minor(s) featured in the photograph to share the image with the Lone Star Cowboy Poetry Gathering for promotional purposes.
• A photographer may submit up to three photographs.
• Due to the youth poetry contest poster format, all photographs must have a horizontal orientation (not vertical).
• All photos must be submitted by 8:00 PM, October 26, 2024.

Note: At the conclusion of the contest the Lone Star Cowboy Poetry Gathering will contact the contest winner and request written permission to use the photograph. The photographer will be given photo credit wherever the photo is published.

Prizes:
Winner will receive a free ticket to the paid show of his/her choice, OR a free copy of the 2025 Lone Star Cowboy Poetry Gathering Poster featuring the artwork of Bruce Greene.
