Joanne Gardner Lowell has been a singer for over 40 years, sharing stages with folks like Rodney Crowell, Emmylou Harris, Tracy Nelson, Vince Gill, Shawn Colvin, Marcia Ball, Bill Payne, and Darrell Scott. She had a naughty blues band of her own in Montana.
She was the first woman director to win a Best Female Video ACM award for her work over 30 years ago with Tanya Tucker and came out of retirement in 2023 to direct Tanya's latest video. After owning a production company in Nashville with Rosanne Cash, she moved to California, then New York, and back to California to direct and produce music videos, ending up as the Senior VP of Video Production at Sony Music.
Joanne and John now live in Livingston, Montana where they produce musical events. The duo has been performing John's original songs and some favorite covers for a decade.
