Doug Figgs

Doug Figgs is an AFA Certified Journeyman Farrier, horseman, and Western music singer/songwriter from the cowboy country of central New Mexico. He lives along the Rio Grande River surrounded by cattle and horses in an area steeped in ancient vaquero and cowboy tradition. His music is inspired by the cowboy/Western life he lives, writing songs from his experiences while drawing from the history of the West. He has performed his music all over the West and continues to turn out his own variety of Western music – from hard driving songs with a hint of southern rock, to beautiful ballads, and everything in between.

Among his many awards are IWMA Entertainer of the Year, 2 time IWMA Male Performer of the Year, 2 Wrangler Awards from the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum, and a Spur award from the WWA.
