Sadly, Juni Fisher is unable to attend the 2024 Gathering due to illness.

Born in the San Joaquin Valley of California, Juni Fisher spent her early years training horses, as well as working on cow-calf operations. She now tours the country full time, delighting audiences with her original songs, storytelling, and guitar playing.

Fisher's awards for excellence in music include the 2005 AWA Female Vocalist of the Year; 2005 WMA Crescendo award winner; 2006, 2009, and 2011 WMA Female Performer of the Year; 2007 and 2011 WMA Song of the Year; 2008 WMA Songwriter of the Year; 2008 Western Heritage Wrangler Award Winner for Most Outstanding Western Album; 2009 WMA Album of the Year; 2011 WMA Female Performer of the Year; 2012 and 2017 True West Magazine Best Solo Musician; and 2011 WMA Entertainer of the Year.

Fisher has penned songs recorded by Rex Allen Jr., Joe Hannah (Sons of the San Joaquin), Ranger Doug (Riders in the Sky), Kristyn Harris, Devon Dawson, Judy Coder, Notable Exceptions, 43 Miles North, and others. She published her debut novel, Girls from Centro, in 2018.

She competed in the National Reined Cow Horse Association's Celebrity Cow Horse Challenge in 2012, winning the Championship, and these days finds time between concerts to ride and show her cow horse futurity prospect.

"Juni Fisher is the best thing to happen to western music in a long time."
