Jim Wilson is a native Texan, former Texas peace officer, and former Texas sheriff. He has been playing music, mostly western music, since his college days.
Wilson says his music is for folks who live on gravel roads, or always wanted to. Picking a guitar, team roping, and day working on Texas ranches gave him a break from his law enforcement duties. His Border Bravo album, one of three current albums, received the Best Traditional Album Award from the Western Music Association.
